Last year, during a "March of equality" in Kharkiv right-wing radicals beat up three people, and this year an LGBT center was egged, doused with urine and had its windows smashed. But despite the threats and the COVID-19 pandemic making its adjustments to the format, the march took place — but not without clashes.
